AMG Shipping Container
We know receiving your container on time, in perfect condition, without surprises matters as much as the container itself. This Shipping Policy covers delivery areas, timeframes, costs, and what to expect from order to arrival. Placing an order means you agree to these terms.
Delivery Areas
We deliver throughout United States and surrounding areas. Deliveries outside our core service area may carry additional freight charges and longer lead times contact us before ordering if you're in an outlying area so we can quote accurately. For long-distance or out-of-state deliveries, email info@amgshippingcontainerperth.com; these are available for select container types with individually quoted freight.
Delivery Timeframes
- In-stock containers, local metro area: 3–7 business days from payment confirmation
- Outlying/regional areas: 7–21 business days depending on location and road access
- Custom/modified containers: 2–6 weeks depending on complexity, confirmed in your written quote
All timeframes are estimates, not guarantees weather, road conditions, holidays, equipment availability, and demand can affect delivery. We'll proactively contact you about any anticipated delay.
Delivery Costs
- 20ft container, local delivery: starts around $350
- 40ft container, local delivery: starts around $450
- High cube containers may cost slightly more due to height/clearance needs
- Outlying deliveries are quoted individually before you confirm your order
- Sales tax is calculated separately and shown on your invoice
Restricted site access (narrow driveway, overhead lines, steep grade, soft ground) may require a crane or side loader any extra equipment cost is communicated and requires your approval first.
Site Requirements (Your Responsibility)
- Clear access for a semi-trailer or tilt-tray truck: ~12 ft driveway width, ~15 ft overhead clearance (20ft containers) or ~16.5 ft (40ft/high cube)
- Level, firm ground able to bear a fully loaded container's weight we're not responsible for damage from inadequate site prep
- Someone authorized must be present to sign for delivery; if not, a redelivery fee applies

Delivery Method
We use tilt-tray trucks, side loaders, and crane trucks depending on your site and container size. Our drivers handle safe transport and placement only not site prep, obstacle removal, or other work. For precise/difficult placement, discuss this with us in advance.
Scheduling & Booking
Once payment is confirmed, our logistics team contacts you within 1–2 business days to schedule delivery (morning/afternoon windows, exact time not guaranteed). A non-refundable $500 booking deposit confirms your date and is deducted from your total. Need to reschedule? Give us 48+ hours notice less than that may incur a $150 rescheduling fee.
Container Collection
Free to pick up from our depot, Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm. Bring your own suitable transport/loading equipment. We can assist loading containers up to 20ft with our on-site equipment at no charge; contact us in advance for 40ft containers. Bring your order confirmation and photo ID.
Risk & Title
Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the container is delivered/placed (driver has left the site) or collected from our depot whichever comes first. We recommend arranging insurance from that point on; we're not responsible for loss, theft, vandalism, or damage after delivery/collection.
Delays Outside Our Control
We're not liable for delays from severe weather, road closures, mechanical breakdowns, labor disputes, government restrictions, or equipment unavailability. We'll notify you and provide a revised timeframe, with no extra fees charged for these delays.
Damaged Containers on Arrival
Inspect before signing. If there's damage, note it on the delivery receipt, photograph it, and don't sign a clean receipt if you have concerns. Email returns@amgshippingcontainerperth.com within 48 hours with your order number, photos, and description we'll respond within 2 business days per our Refund and Returns Policy.
Remote & Long-Distance Deliveries
We work with freight partners for distant or hard-to-reach locations. Charges, timeframes, and feasibility vary contact info@amgshippingcontainerperth.com before ordering for a tailored quote. Delivery to all locations isn't guaranteed.
